Default I went to the JK side

yep, it was time to get a commuter car for the wife that she could use for driving my niece and nephew around and other stuff. She wanted a convertible so the only thing that fit our needs was the 4-dr jk. We went with the Rubicon and pretty soon the rig will get 35" tires with a 2.5" lift, and rock sliders (she didn't want a wussy jeep) as this will be the back up wheeling rig in case something happens to the other unlimited. so here's a couple of photos:

Congrats on the new ride! I don't know about a commuter car, but if fuel economy isn't what you're striving for, I couldn't think of anything else that'd fit the bill. Here's to many fun filled topless miles ahead! (in regards to the convertible comment)

yeah, the commuter thing isn't too bad but it's a jeep so I knew what I was getting into.

thanks guys. yeah her "commute" is 5 blocks so mileage wasn't too much of a concern but you're right about the fun factor Ryan, so it's all good

Congrats Andy good choice with the 4-door Rubicon JK. Have you had a chance to run it in 4-low yet, pretty soon you'll be wanting 4.0:1 t-case gearing in your Jeep . Glad to hear you didn't get rid of your other Jeep, look forward to seeing this one get built!

Wow, great buy! Congrats. Wifey and I thought about getting one a while back but they're pricey and insurance would be kinda high for a new jeep. Still think about it every once in a while, and we would probably want a 4 door Rubi like that. Let me know how you like it.

Gonna take it out to see what it's got?
